DER Experience

The Aeronautica Team is led by industry veteran James Burd who has been an FAA Structures DER since 1998. Our DER experience spans three critical disciplines:

Structural Design

Detail parts, assemblies, and installations for both primary and secondary aircraft structure.

Stress Analysis

Static strength substantiation using classical and numerical FEA methods across all airframe components.

Damage Tolerance

Fatigue, damage tolerance, durability, widespread fatigue damage, and aging aircraft fleet evaluations.
